Thai Shrimp
This article features “the ultimate Asian noodle sauce”. We will use this sauce for this dish. We will also use peanuts as a garnish and to keep true to Thai cuisine.
For this dish we will use the following ingredients
Shrimp
thai noodles
the ultimate Asian noodle sauce
ground ginger
chili flakes
turmeric
carrots
garlic
onion
green beans
brocoli leaves
We will marinate the shrimp 2 hours before cooking to enhance the flavor of them
For the shrimp
1 lb shrimp( preferably peeled)
1 tablespoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon of chili flakes
1 tablespoon ground turmeric
combine all ingredients and let marinate for up to 2 hours
For the noodles
place boiling water and cook Thai noodles according to directions on packet. Strain and reserve
For sautee
1/4 Spanish onion julienne
2 cloves of garlic thinly sliced, or you can mince as well
1 carrot, diced
heat a sautéed pan and sautéed shrimp for 2/3 minutes.
add onion, carrot and garlic and sautéed for 2 more minutes
add green beans and broccoli leaves and sauté for 1 minute
add noodles and “the ultimate Asian noodle sauce”
serve in a bowl and add chopped cilantro crushed peanuts as garnish
