Sage and Thyme Roasted Pork

Roasted Pork Loin screams autumn vibes. Sage and thyme are great herbs for any roast. Lemon zest is also a very handy ingredient that only enhances flavor. Below is a basic recipe for a roast that can also be utilized on beef or poultry.

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon ground sage

1 lemon zested

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 bay leaves

1 teaspoon ground pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 pork loin

Combine all ingredients and marinate pork for 6-12 hours.

You can roast the pork loin until internal temperature reaches 145 F(an oven at 450F will take approximately 45 minutes). You can also cook in a crock pot on low setting for 3 hours however it will not get the nice color of caramelization. Once the pork is ready slice and serve.
