This a simple but flavorful barbeque rub one can use the next time they make ribs, brisket or chicken. Make sure to rub the protein 24 hours before cooking to allow the flavors to marinate and come through.

1 tablespoon ground coffee

2 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon ground garlic

1 tablespoon ground onion

1 tablespoon paprika

1 tablespoon kosher salt

1 tablespoon dried herbs(preferably parsley, chives or thyme)

Mix all ingredients together
